  • When rebar is encountered while drilling concrete, immediately stop the rotary hammer and remove the bit from the hole (failure to stop will damage the drill bit) Mount the rebar cutter bit into a standard 1/2" chuck drill and insert it into the hole, drill through the embedded rebar. After you are through the rebar remove the rebar cutter bit and finish drilling the hole with the rotary hammer.
